This is the strength and identity of our brand. More than ever we want to defend this vision of a direct, fair and responsible fashion.
We are here to stay and each of our actions is thought to be always coherent and valid in another decade. Over the years we continue to adjust and improve our distribution, our collection, our suppliers, our manufacturing processes. This has been the case again this year and in particular on emblematic products of the brand, some of which have been in the collection for 9 years already! This is the reason why some pieces of the collection will have a price increase from January 1st. Only in order to adjust the selling price on the basis of the production cost that has significantly increased on these products in recent months.
Alongside these timeless products, we have introduced many new shapes. The Sienna, The (Small) Backpack and The Briefcase were an immediate success. They show us the way forward for the next few years.
From a more general point of view, the past year has shown us, confirmed and reinforced the fact that you are always more in demand of transparency.
A transparency that is both technical (you are looking for information on the tanning process, the origin of the materials, the manufacturing details) and also a more generic transparency with a particular attention on our actions and ecological commitments.
We have often found it difficult to communicate on these aspects without giving the impression that it is 'just marketing'. But we are going to do it in the upcoming year, in the most organic and consistent way possible. To show you that it is possible to pursue growth while remaining aware of the environmental issues that surround us.
Like every year we look forward to the next few months with great anticipation and excitement. Creating and developing this brand has been the most rewarding adventure of the last decade. We will do our best to make it the same for the next 10 years.
